Mid Week Macaron Indulgence at Ladurée
2013
After sharing a recipe for rustic almond macarons earlier this week, I thought I would check out Ladurée in Covent Garden.
Having worked in Covent Garden for almost a year now, I have passed this boutique French pâtisserie many a time and finally took the time to wander in and marvel at all of the colourful macarons!
In case you are interested, the macaron flavours are:
- Coconut
- Caramel with Salted Butter
- Rose Petal
- Rose Tea
- Green Apple
- Blackcurrant Violet
My personal favourite was the Caramel with Salted Butter and least favourite was probably the Green Apple. But all of them were pretty tasty to be honest.
If you get the chance to visit Covent Garden, or you live in London, this little slice of Paris with a close friend is a must. Next step – Ladurée in Paris!
What flavours would make up your box?

I usually don’t like macaroons, but these look fantastic. I would love to have a little slice of Paris as soon as I get paid!
Ah, it’s because they are macarons! Not to be confused with macaroons
They are amazing though – you should definitely go to the one in Covent Garden once you’re paid! x
