Spring/Summer Trends: Pastels
2013
I know we’re a bit far away from wearing them, but we’re certainly not too early to be looking forward to the spring/summer 2013 trends. I’ll be doing little focus pieces on other spring trends, but I’ll start off with the pastel trend as it’s the easiest one to incorporate into your wardrobe.

Light and airy, much like the Ladurée macarons we are all so fond of, the pastel trend is one I will definitely be sporting as the buds of spring begin to blossom.
You can be subtle and make one or two items of your outfit pastel coloured. Even a pastel tote bag would be the perfect nod to this spring trend. But, if you’re feeling a bit daring, you can always go for a pastel approach across the whole of your outfit. The trick is to make sure each item of clothing is a different pastel colour…
Mint Green Blouse from Stylebop | Lilac Trousers from ASOS | Pearly Rose Stud Earrings from Accessorize | Nude Pink Peeptoe Shoes from New Look | Blue Floral Makeup Bag from Cath Kidston
What do you think of the pastel trend for this spring? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’m absolutely in love with anything Cath Kidston puts forth, and pastels are beyond gorgeous.
Have you seen Ruche’s pastel collection for Spring/Summer?
